I failed to keep promises and vows to my beloved wife, Laura—hiding parts of myself, including my use of pornography and the extent of my drinking. I engaged in behaviors that deeply contradicted my values—visiting seedy massage parlors, paying for sex, and living a double life I couldn’t reconcile with the integrity I claimed to uphold. Even though I worked hard, saved, and achieved success on paper, I was haunted by the feeling that it was never enough—financially, emotionally, spiritually. I turned to excessive drinking to numb the shame and silence the internal war I was waging. As a respected public servant, I wore a badge of honor publicly, while privately living at odds with the very values I stood for. I neglected my health—gaining weight, battling fatigue, and enduring chronic back pain. Worse, I often lashed out in anger at the people I loved most, a reflection of the inner chaos I couldn’t seem to escape. The Turning Point I was out of harmony, out of integrity, and living a life that didn’t reflect the man I truly wanted to be. And that’s what transformation demanded: radical honesty, deep accountability, and a return to alignment. I faced my truth—and through that, I reclaimed my life. Now, I live in alignment with my values. I lead with integrity. I thrive in harmony and abundance.
